The engine is strong and it starts without issue. The 38cc engine gives this saw superior power for a trim. Just some chipped / scratched paint. You really must be able to use a chainsaw, and understand it, before you purchase.

Just a solid, all-around small trim-type chainsaw for the money. With a new rope. It puts a cordless chainsaw to shame. This combinations is a tough and durable design.

It runs fine as it has been refurbished. And you are not paying a new price. I do understand the frustration. Just too many scammers and non-paying buyers.

This trim saw received a good workout when I was testing it. The engine is strong but certainly not difficult to start. It also has a replacement fuel reservoir cap. Very versatile and easy to use.

The saws performance was trouble-free during tuning. The automatic bar / chain oiler works properly as it should with no problems. But there is NO RETURN on this chainsaw unless a demonstrable problem. So please be realistic in your expectations.

The cosmetic condition of this saw is better than average with no missing parts. It is NOT a new chainsaw. Even though the saw runs fine, please have realistic expectations, it is not new. One of the largest engine displacement model's available in a trim-type chainsaw.

The Poulan 2300 is a simple and reliable machine. Good as a small firewood cutting machine. With its Felon electronic ignition along with rebuilt Alberio WT carburetor, ready for use. No damaged frame or cracked recoil clutch covers.

The starter recoil assembly has been fully inspected with no performance issues. No over-priced flat rate fee. My chainsaws are accurately described. I want you to have the best experience and not wait excessively for saw or missing parts.

Chainsaws are fantastic labor saving devices, but can be very dangerous if handled with carelessness. The muffler is in good shape with all internal baffles and screen. It has a new fuel line, filter and air. Please understand you are NOT purchasing a new chainsaw as there always scrapes, scuffs, hidden dirt, minor debris, etc.

This is NOT an untested chainsaw. I do regret the current high cost of shipping, but try to minimize weight. This 38cc, electronic ignition, reed valve induction, small 16 chainsaw is a fine example of the lightweight top handle trim model's made by Poulan. It is problem free with no slippage or other defects.

Return shipping is just too EXPENSIVE for me when caused by buyer inexperience. My apology for the next paragraph but it is sadly necessary. The sprocket needle bearing has been fully re-lubricated. Only make your carburetor adjustments if necessary when the saw is fully warm.

No fuel or oil leaks. The drive sprocket looks very good with only minor wear. It will NOT be perfect. Adjustments to mixture strength and idle speed requires a simple small flat blade screwdriver.

Seriously good for trim work, but also fine as a small firewood cutter at 38cc.
