Chainsaw has not had any new fuel run through the carb. This chainsaw has been in dry storage for a few years. Before storage, chainsaw was pulled over to help suck out any fuel left in carb. Compression is high - affected by oiled cylinder.

This chainsaw will NOT run on straight gas - that is not mixed with two-stroke oil and would be ruined by running it. Used unrestored first version Echo CS-5500 55cc two-stroke chainsaw powerhead - without any bar or chain. Pull through with spark plug out is smooth,so no noticeable hangups

This chainsaw has the early first version chain brake chain is hair trigger and may need to be adjusted. Carb may have to be tuned for buyers location. See photos - are part of the. Handlebar cover has some cuts and a split - again see photos.

Chainsaw has a clean OEM Echo air filter. Cylinder and bottom end were oiled before storage. This is a used two-stroke engines chainsaw that uses premixed fuel - gas mixed with good oil

Spark has been checked - spark is OK blue. Bar oil tank and fuel were drained before storage.
